Learners have identified and planned outside spaces to grow food/herbs to be used in the school kitchens, plants to attract bees and butterflies, to make the external spaces more appealing and provide a sensory experience.
As part of the curriculum learners will be developing knowledge, skills and understanding of germination and the growing process, food miles and the carbon footprint.
