Salford Open Learning is an LA registered provider of Alternative Provision and shares a DfE number with the PRU. The Clifton Centre manages the teaching and learning element of the provision and the Youth Service provide the enhancement of the curriculum.
Students are referred through the Salford “In Year Fair Access Panel” and remain on their “home” school roll.
The provision operates from a number of sites in order to deliver flexible and personalised programmes of full-time education for Key Stage 4 students who are unable to access their mainstream schools.
The Youth Service delivery is managed by Patrick Sullivan and the lead teacher is Lorna Wright. She is line managed by Alison Johnston (Head of Centre, Clifton)
